Reportedly, the Supreme Court has dismissed plea asking for a CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death investigation and wants the police to handle it.

Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode, there has been a constant demand of a CBI probe in the ongoing police investigation. Every day, lakhs of people are urging the Indian government to handle this matter in the hands of CBI. Only yesterday, the Home Minister of Maharashtra stated that there’s no need for CBI interference and that the police officials are handling it well. Now, as per the latest development in NDTV, the Supreme Court’s verdict on a plea is on similar lines.

As per a journalist, the Supreme Court has dismissed a PIL that seeks CBI enquiry in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death row. As per the Chief Justice, the police is investigating the same and they should be allowed to do their job. “BREAKING: Supreme Court refuses to entertain a PIL seeking a CBI probe in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.  Supreme Court says that the police is investigating the matter and ‘should be allowed to do its job’,” read the tweet. (ALSO READ - Sushant Singh Rajput Case Getting Murkier, Better If CBI Steps In, Says BSP Chief Mayawati)

Last night, ANI had reported, “Mumbai police are investigating the case. It will not be transferred to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI): Anil Deshmukh, Maharashtra Home Minister on #SushantSinghRajput's death case.”
